YOUTH CHALLENGE PROGRAM SERIES 2012
Has the ADF helped shape Australia's national identity?

Introduction

The 2012 series of the DEFENCE 2020 – Has the ADF helped shape Australia's national identity? Youth Challenge Program will be held across Australia between May and June.

This is the fifth year of the DEFENCE 2020 program which brings together students from different schools and Australian Defence Force (ADF) personnel to explore many of the issues surrounding defence and Australia’s responsibility as a global citizen in the past, present and the future.

Years 9-11 students benefit most from the Youth Challenge Program, as it is particularly relevant to SOSE, Citizenship Education, History and English curriculum areas.

Some 8,000 students have participated in the program to date and 92% have adjudged it either Excellent or Very Good.

If you haven't been to one of the challenges you are missing a great day of fun and investigative learning.

Register online now or call Bernadette Lightfoot on (03) 9500 2399 for further details.
