My name is Private Stephanie Tarrant and I'm in the Australian Intelligence Corps and I'm an analyst. Our main role is that we collect data and provide that information to our commanders in order for them to make decisions and strategies.
I joined the ADF in July 2008. I am currently based at Australia's Federation Guard and awaiting the Australian Intelligence initial employment training at Kanunga.
I joined the ADF after leaving school when I was 18 years old. My main reasons for joining were - I wanted to do something different and challenge myself and after being in nearly two years now and 19 years of age, I've really found that I've done some amazing things with the Defence Force and I am looking forward to the challenges ahead and what the future holds.
I'm mostly looking forward to an overseas deployment and just making a network of friends and find my place within the ADF and to make the most of it while I can.
