KATHERINE NORTHERN TERRITORY
On 24 November students, teachers and ADF members gathered in Katherine, NT, for a special Defence2020 Indigenous Youth Challenge. The students made decisions about leadership, met and learned about modern Indigenous ADF 'warriors', took part in a 'bullring' equipment demonstration activity, brainstormed in workshop sessions, and presented their findings about the role of the ADF in their lives in lively role plays. The verdict:
'The day was fantastic. Loved it. Thanks for a lovely day.'
